"As a card-carrying member of the “over 80% of our population who has suffered from impairing low back pain” and a practicing physical therapist for over 17 years, I deal with this fact both personally and professionally on a daily basis. Work became a significant challenge. Recreation became impossible. But, strangely enough, despite those challenges, I was thankful – not every day – but in general. Because when we experience the challenge of others, we become much more able to relate to their condition. That led to being more effective in helping others."
